How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in employment with Maricopa County School District! Applications are accepted for open positions only. **PLEASE NOTE: Maricopa County Regional School District (MCRSD) participates in the Department of Homeland Security E-Verify system. MCRSD will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm eligibility to work in the United States. For more information on E-Verify, please visit the Department of Homeland Security website at www.dhs.gov.

Please note: Applications remain active for six months from the date the application is submitted.

Certified Applicants

Certified applicants include teacher and certified administrator. In order for your application to be complete, you will need to submit the following:

  1. Resume
  2. Arizona Teacher Certificate or evidence that you are in the process of obtaining a certificate from the Arizona Department of Education. Out of state teaching certificates are not accepted. You must obtain a reciprocal Arizona Teaching Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education. For certification requirements and information on the certification application process, please contact the Arizona Department of Education at 602.542.4367.
  3. Official transcripts
  4. Three letters of recommendation
  5. A copy of your Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card
  6. SEI certificate
  7. Immunization records
  8. Documentation to support highly qualified status

Applications are screened by MCRSD administrators. Applicants are selected and contacted by district personnel. Your application will remain active for six months from the date submitted or updated.

Support Staff Applicants

MCRSD only accepts applications for open support staff positions. You have the opportunity to submit the following documents with your application:

  1. Resume
  2. Transcripts (if required for the position)
  3. Three letters of recommendation
  4. Immunization records

Applications are screened by MCRSD administrators. Applicants are selected and contacted by district personnel. Your application will remain active for six months from the date submitted or updated.
