Ms. Williams is the Academic Instructional Coach for Maricopa County Regional School District. She has been with MCRSD since July 2011. Prior to her current, position she was an educator with Phoenix Union High School District. During her tenure, she provided instruction and leadership in the areas of language arts, advanced placement, special education and ESL. Ms. Williams received her B.A. degree in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Riverside and her M.Ed. with emphasis in Curriculum, Instruction and Language Acquisition from Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Educational Policy and Leadership at Arizona State University. Ms. Williams is an active member of several civic service organizations in which she devotes her resources and efforts toward the upliftment of her community. She engages in public speaking on relevant issues that affect young women, and continues to serve as both a mentor for young girls (ages 15-18) and academic tutor for several inner-city intervention programs. Ms. Williams enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, learning new languages, and engaging in adventure sports.
