Ms. Theresa Franco
Ms. Theresa Franco has been in education since 2005. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and is now currently working on her completing her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Franco has in depth experience in teaching elementary through high school. In addition, she has served as an instructional coach and as an administrator. Ms. Franco currently serves as the had Instructional Leader for Maricopa Regional School District where she oversees one school with six different sites throughout Maricopa County.
Ms. Franco’s focus as an administrator is to effectively support teachers in implementing the goals outlined in the District’s Strategic Plan. She has high expectations for students, staff, and for herself as an administrator. Ms. Franco empowers others to take control of their own learning and development by establishing an environment built on accountability and responsibility. She communicates with and involve the partners as well as community stakeholders through the use of monthly newsletters, district website and social media outlets.
Ms. Franco is a native to Arizona and fully enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and listening to music. Ms. Franco likes to give back to the community by tutoring children and helping them close achievement gaps.
